Our mission is to provide each patient with the highest quality of care in a relaxed, caring, friendly and professional atmosphere. We focus on achieving long-term, predictable and optimal results. Each and every patient is treated like a family member and given a first class dental experience.
Our Philosphy
By portraying our philosophy in every aspect of what we do, we set the standard for dental care. We are truly a premiere dental office. In this manner, our patients will have no other choice than to recommend The Dental Touch to their friends and family. There is no better way to promote ourselves than through those who already trust and believe in us.
Dr. Shireen Dhanani is a general dentist in Leesburg Florida, who specializes in providing quality cosmetic and general dental procedures, using the latest and most modern technology currently available.
SHIREEN DHANANI, D.M.D.
In 1998, Dr. Dhanani obtained her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Florida College of Dentistry. In 1994, she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree at Emory University’s Goizueta Business School while obtaining a double major in Biology as well.
Dr. Dhanani has been in private practice since 1998. She and her husband, Waseem Ansari, practice administrator, established the Leesburg office in 2004.
Dr. Dhanani has had a passion for dentistry and helping people optimize their overall health through their dental care. She emphasizes giving her patients personal attention, making them feel comfortable and creating a pleasant environment for her patients.
Dr. Dhanani is always keeping up-to-date with the latest advancements in dentistry enabling her to provide her patients with the best quality of care. She dedicates herself to numerous continuing education hours each year and offers all phases of Cosmetic, Implant (both surgical placement and restorative) and Esthetic dentistry including Botox and Juvéderm dermal fillers. Dr. Dhanani is certified to treat patients using Invisalign and Cerec 3-D CAD/CAM technology, as well as sleep apnea.
She is a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, Central Florida District Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Implant Dental Association and the International Academy of Facial Esthetics.
In her spare time, Dr. Dhanani enjoys spending time with her husband and their two sons, Ahad, 20, and Aayan, 14. She also enjoys cooking, reading, walking and meeting new people as well as learning new things that she is passionate about.

KIMBERLY
CLINICAL ASSISTANT
Kimberly has been working with Dr. Dhanani for over a decade! She is a graduate of Polk Community College and Tampa College, and is certified in expanded functions dental assisting. Kimberly loves the family atmosphere and teamwork of our office, and in her spare time, enjoys reading, gardening, woodworking, fishing, and spending time with her son, Clinton, and her dog, Jasper.
MARYGAYLE
FRONT OFFICE TEAM
Marygayle has been our smiling sunshine at the front desk for five years! She has attended both Daytona State College and the University of Central Florida, and has both an Associate’s Degree and Dental Assisting Certificate. Marygayle’s favorite part about her job is the look that patients get when they realize that coming to the dentist isn’t as scary as they thought it would be! When she isn’t in the office, Marygayle loves to spend time curling up with a good book and hanging out with her family. Rumor has it, she is also a big fan of all things Disney, especially The Haunted Mansion.
Latoya
FRONT OFFICE TEAM
Latoya comes to The Dental Touch with more than 20 years of customer service and dental field experience. Latoya has a passion for people – her favorite part of her job is helping patients and making them smile. When Latoya isn’t busy making our patients’ days at the front desk, she enjoys spending time with her blended family of six, including chasing after her twins! Latoya also holds a B.A. in Interior Design, so if you’re not sure about your next curtain pattern, you know who to ask!
Rose
TREATMENT & FINANCIAL COORDINATOR
Growing up in a military family, Rose has traveled the world meeting people from all walks of life. Rose’s experience with all sorts of personalities and her decades of experience in customer service make her a fantastic addition to our team. Rose said she loves everything about her job and strives to make the patients satisfied with every visit. When Rose isn’t helping patients at The Dental Touch, you can find her spending time with her two children, reading poetry and telling everyone about the best place for coffee and bagels – her hometown, New York City!
TARYN
CLINICAL ASSISTANT
One laugh with Taryn and you are sure to be put at ease. Taryn has been with The Dental Touch for nearly two years now and really makes our patients feel at home in her care. Taryn has more than 30 years of dental experience and when she’s not busy tending to our patients, she enjoys lounging at one of the many pools in The Villages.
